🛑 ITEMS WE CANNOT TAKE (Hazardous Waste Policy)
We strictly comply with the guidelines set by the Maine Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and cannot transport materials classified as hazardous:
- Liquids: Wet Paint, Motor Oil, Solvents, Fluids, and Antifreeze.
- Chemicals: Pesticides, Herbicides, Toxic Cleaners, and Household Hazardous Waste (HHW).
- Contaminants: Propane Tanks, Sealed Drums, Medical Waste, and anything containing Asbestos.
- Batteries: Vehicle Batteries (Lead-Acid) and other large, corrosive batteries.
For proper disposal of these prohibited items, please consult your local county or city waste management division.
