- Furniture & Mattresses: Sofas, dressers, tables, chairs, and mattresses/box springs. We adhere to local rules, including the requirement for some jurisdictions (like Prince George’s County) to have mattresses wrapped in plastic for certain disposal methods.
- Appliances (White Goods): Washers, dryers, stoves, and ovens.
- Refrigeration Units: Refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners. We ensure all refrigerants are recovered and processed by certified professionals prior to recycling or disposal.
- General Household Clutter: Boxes, clothes, tools, exercise equipment, and non-hazardous garbage bags.
💻 Specialized Items & Maryland Mandates
We manage materials subject to specific Maryland state and county regulations.
- Electronics (E-Waste): We remove and ensure the compliant recycling of televisions, monitors, computers, printers, and other Consumer Electronic Devices (CEDs) as required by Maryland’s eCycling legislation. We never send e-waste to a landfill.
- Construction & Demolition (C&D) Debris: We handle non-hazardous materials from home remodeling, including scrap wood, drywall, roofing shingles, and concrete. We dispose of these at MDE-permitted rubble landfills or C&D facilities.
- Scrap Metal: All scrap metal (ferrous and non-ferrous) is separated and delivered to appropriate scrap metal recyclers.
🛑 Regulated and Prohibited Waste
For the safety of our team and the environment, we cannot take items classified as hazardous or special medical waste, as these require licensed transporters and facilities under COMAR Title 26.
- Hazardous Materials: Liquid paints, motor oil, solvents, fuels, batteries, and corrosive chemicals.
- Asbestos: Any material containing or suspected of containing asbestos.
- Tires: Due to Maryland’s Scrap Tire Law, while we can often haul them, they require special processing fees and must be handled separately.

- In need of an estate clean out or any other cleanout service? Our friendly team members will perform the work with respect when you’re going through a very difficult and emotional time. We donate up to 70% of the items we remove, so it is less trash into the landfill and someone else in need will be happy to receive our donation. You’re only required to pay for the space your items take up on the truck– no hourly rates, additional labor costs, or disposal fee-it’s all included in your flat-rate price!
