🌲 WHAT WE HAUL: MICHIGAN JUNK REMOVAL

Michigan’s regulations prohibit the disposal of certain wastes to protect the environment and recover valuable resources. Your junk is our responsibility, and we ensure compliance with the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) and local regulations, focusing on diverting materials from landfills.

We take practically everything non-hazardous and handle all the regulatory compliance for you.

⚠️ ITEMS WE CANNOT ACCEPT (Universal & Hazardous Waste)

Michigan classifies several common household items as Universal Waste, a type of hazardous waste that must be managed and diverted from landfills. We cannot accept:

  • Mercury-Containing Equipment: Thermostats, thermometers, and mercury switches.
  • Lamps/Bulbs: Fluorescent bulbs, high-intensity discharge lamps, and neon lights (due to mercury content).
  • Hazardous Chemicals: Wet/liquid paint, solvents, gasoline, pesticides, and pool chemicals.
  • Asbestos: Asbestos-containing materials require specialized certification and handling.

Next Step for Prohibited Items: Your local county or city health department, in coordination with EGLE, provides free Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collection programs for these chemicals and restricted items.
