WHAT WE TAKE: NEBRASKA JUNK REMOVAL

When it comes to junk in Nebraska, we handle the heavy lifting and the heavy regulations. The state has outright landfill bans on several common household and commercial items. We ensure your items are properly routed to recyclers, processors, or specialized disposal facilities to keep you compliant with Nebraska state law.

We take practically everything non-hazardous that two people can safely lift.

⚠️ What We Cannot Haul in Nebraska (Hazardous Waste)

The following materials are either regulated or generally not accepted by non-specialized haulers in Nebraska. Commercial and industrial hazardous wastes are particularly restricted.1

  • Hazardous Wastes (Non-Household): Businesses generating over a certain amount of hazardous waste must use a licensed hazardous waste facility.
  • Bulk/Non-Containerized Liquids: Anything that fails the Paint Filter Test is generally banned from landfills. This includes things like large quantities of non-dried paint, solvents, or chemicals.
    • Household Hazardous Waste (HHW): For Douglas/Sarpy Counties (Omaha metro), facilities like “Under The Sink” accept chemicals, liquid paint, and sharps.2 We encourage you to use these free community resources for items like:
      • Wet Paint (Latex & Oil-Based)
      • Pesticides & Fertilizers
      • Gasoline & Antifreeze
      • Pool Chemicals
  • Asbestos: Asbestos-containing materials are regulated. You must contact the landfill directly for specific handling and acceptance requirements.
